What do we do?

We empower students to speak with clarity and confidence through a premier language platform that focuses on teaching essential communication skills, including the standard American accent and pronunciation. We work with adult students living in the US and around the world. Our students are fluent in English, and simply want to reduce their foreign or regional accents.

Our communicative management team offers extra support or training as needed. Coaches work fully online via Skype and can work from anywhere. Onboarding is straightforward and includes training videos on teaching and using our Dashboard. We provide a comprehensive, evolving curriculum to ensure top-quality materials. Our coaches enjoy working with dedicated, goal-oriented students who bring energy and engagement to each session, making teaching an exciting and fulfilling experience.

Qualifications

  • Must be a North American native speaker (USA/Canada).
  • Speak clearly without a strong regional accent.
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience in ESL, accent, or pronunciation.
  • At least one of the following:
  • TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics/English
  • Vocal related degree/certification
  • Ability to use Skype Video Calls.
  • Have a stable internet connection.
  • Use a computer or tablet for the classes

Benefits

  • Hourly pay rate is $16USD/hour.
  • Guaranteed pay rate increases of $0.50 USD/hour every 250 teaching hours, until it reaches $25 USD/hour.
  • Get paid in full for student no-shows and late cancellations.
  • You choose your own hours and keep the same schedule every week.
  • Classes are 24×7. Peak times are 7 am until midnight US Eastern Time
  • Class material is provided including training videos
  • No lengthy class reports
  • No penalties for being late, taking time off, last-minute cancellations, technical difficulties, etc. We trust our coaches to provide the best possible service.

No, it is a gradual build up of hours. Depending on your availability, the students’ availability and your performance it could take a few weeks to a few months to reach your desired weekly total of hours. The more availability you have, the faster you will acquire students.

There is currently no minimum or cap of hours, however, based on what the majority of our coaches are working, you could realistically work 15-30 hours a week.

We have students from all over the world, so you would work with a variety of nationalities and accents. The majority are business professionals.
The students are not tested or evaluated. It isn’t necessary because all of the material can be adapted to the students’ individual levels, needs and objectives.
We pay monthly via PayPal.
No, the starting rate is set at $16/hr. It is non-negotiable.

We have developed our own material and curriculum. Coaches have access to hundreds of worksheets that they can use during the classes and share with their students. Coaches are given the flexibility to adapt the material to the students’ needs.

Yes, if you are selected to work with us you will have access to the material and teaching tutorial videos, including a complete class demo.

If a coach is not available to do a class, they need to inform the student as soon as possible and the class can be rescheduled.

During the onboarding process, coaches are given tutorial videos on how to use the dashboard and its features, and the teaching material. We also have a detailed Handbook on all our procedures and protocols. Additional support and training are available whenever needed.
Coaches are hired as independent contractors (W9 form) and will receive a 1099 form at the beginning of the new year.
