How Does It Work?

- When you enroll, you sign up for weekly classes. The number of classes per week varies depending on your schedule and how fast you want to learn. Our most common programs consist of 1, 2, or 3 classes per week. You can take more than 3 classes if you’d like.
- Classes focus on two things: accent reduction and communication skills.
- After enrolling, you’re matched with a professional American accent coach. Each class consists of one-on-one tutoring and coaching customized to your needs.
- During class, your trainer will guide you through exercises and drills proven to reduce your accent and train the “Standard” (or broadcaster) American accent. This is the accent most commonly heard in media and professional circles. It often involves retraining the entire vocal system, which includes your mouth, facial muscles, and even your breath. These sessions are akin to working out at the gym and training muscles to do strange, new movements skillfully.
- Classes are only 25 minutes long and take place through Skype, which means you can do them anywhere you have an Internet connection and a computer.
